Mahon McCann is a PhD researcher at DCU focusing on the ethical issues of Social Media Companies monetising users’ attention. His background is in philosophy, economics, and writing. He received a BA in Economics & Philosophy from University College Dublin and his MA in Creative Writing from Queen’s University Belfast. His plays have been performed in the Lyric Theatre, Seamus Heaney Centre in Belfast, Rua Red Gallery, and selected for the Fringe Lab Fifty in Dublin.
