Edérson Dos Santos Alves holds a Doctorate in Law from the University of Salamanca – USAL, with an international mention in the ERCAS program at the Hertie School in Berlin (2022), where he was awarded a scholarship from USAL. He also completed an International Master’s degree in Latin American Studies from the University Sorbonne Nouvelle – Paris 3 and USAL, through the esteemed Erasmus+ program.
Throughout his academic journey, Dr. Alves has embarked on numerous research stays, supported by the Erasmus+ program, at renowned institutions such as University of Roma Tre (2023), Humboldt University of Berlin (2022-23), Rey Juan Carlos III University – URJC (2023), Ludwig Boltzmann Institut für Grund- und Menschenrechte and University of Vienna (2022), University of Lisbon (2021), University of Minho (2020-21), State University of Campinas – Unicamp (2020).
Edérson is a law professor in the postgraduate program at Otavalo University. He is also a lawyer in Brazil and Portugal. Additionally, he serves as the CEO of Ethics EIRELI, a specialized entity committed to field research concerning ethics, regulatory compliance, human rights protection, and multidimensional poverty. He is not only an accomplished researcher and academic, but he also possesses extensive expertise in the field of public administration.
Within the realm of research, Dr. Alves focuses on various captivating areas, including human rights, public administration digital, digital law, behavioral public administration, transparency, anti-corruption, compliance, and the 2030 Agenda.
