Cesaria Claudia Losito is a PhD candidate within the Economics and Finance of Public Administration doctoral program at the University of Bari Aldo Moro (Italy). Claudia’s research engages with the legal and constitutional implications of the digital transition, with a focus on Big Data in Public Administration, Digital Constitutionalism and Normative Science.
During her research stay at Dublin City University (DCU), she investigates the legal tensions between the necessary opacity of public algorithms and the principle of transparency aimed at safeguarding citizens’ fundamental rights.
Her broader research interests include algorithmic transparency, the governance of artificial intelligence, the twin transition as well as the impact of emerging technologies on fundamental rights and the rule of law.
Claudia studied Law at the University of Bari Aldo Moro and has previously interned at the National Research Council (CNR) in Italy.
