Alba Perez Victorio is a Researcher of the Law and Tech Research Cluster and a Graduate of the European Master in Law, Data and AI (EMILDAI) at the School of Law and Government of Dublin City University. Her research focuses on EU and comparative digital law, particularly digital rights, digital constitutionalism and sovereignty, and its interaction with environmental law. Alba holds a Master in Professional Legal Practice from Pompeu Fabra University, and previously studied law at Pompeu Fabra University and at the University of Trento. Alba has practised law in Spain, providing advice to agents of the Spanish electricity system on the legal aspects of the energy transition, especially focusing on solar photovoltaic (PV) generation and on the creation of renewable energy communities in Europe.
