The DCU Law and Tech Research Cluster is pleased to share that the call for abstracts for the 10th European Multidisciplinary Conference on Global Internet Governance (GIG-ARTS 2026) has been extended. Authors now have until 26 January 2026 (23:59 CET) to submit their proposals.
GIG-ARTS 2026 will take place on 14–15 May 2026 at Dublin City University, bringing together scholars and practitioners from across disciplines to engage with pressing issues in internet governance, digital regulation, human rights, and sustainable digital futures. The conference theme — “Digital Futures, Sustainable Freedoms: Rights, Responsibilities and Governance” — invites contributions that examine how digital transformation intersects with law, policy, and society.
This extension provides additional time for researchers to prepare submissions that reflect their current work, whether at early stages or nearing completion. Submitted abstracts will be reviewed by the GIG-ARTS programme committee, with the aim of shaping a rich and interdisciplinary programme for the Dublin event.
