As the top ranking student in the Masters in Data Protection and Privacy: Law and Computing, Dolores Martyn receives the prestigious Westin Scholar Award.

Dr John Quinn, programme chair of the master said: ‘The award is given by the International Association of Privacy Professionals to students who are identified as leaders in the field of privacy or data protection’.

Dolores commented:

The interdisciplinary nature of the MA in Data Protection & Privacy Law makes it suitable for candidates passionate about the data protection and privacy field, and not just those from a traditional law background.

Having come from a non-law background I found the programme key to developing my knowledge in this area and enabling me to make a transition into a new career.
